1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using YourScoreToday ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of Service

YourScoreToday is a free-to-play, fan-made prediction game where users predict football match scores, goalscorers, and tournament awards to earn points and compete on leaderboards and in private leagues. No real money, prizes, or rewards of monetary value are offered or awarded. This is an entertainment service only.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have the consent of a parent or guardian.

4. Account Registration

• You must sign in using a valid Google account.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• You must not create multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use offensive, abusive, or inappropriate display names or content.
• Attempt to manipulate the scoring system, exploit bugs, or use automated tools to submit predictions.
• Interfere with the Service's operation, security, or infrastructure.
• Impersonate other users or misrepresent your identity.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including gambling.

6. Predictions & Scoring

• Predictions must be submitted before the scheduled kick-off time. Late submissions will not be accepted.
• Points are calculated automatically based on the scoring rules displayed in the app.
• Match results and goalscorer data are sourced from third-party providers. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but accept no liability for errors in source data.
• We reserve the right to adjust scores, correct errors, or recalculate points at any time if inaccuracies are discovered.
• Leaderboard rankings are updated automatically and reflect current total points.

7. Leagues

• Users may create and join private leagues using invite codes.
• League creators are responsible for sharing invite codes only with intended participants.
• We are not responsible for disputes between league members.

8. No Gambling

YourScoreToday is not a gambling service. No real money is wagered, and no monetary prizes are awarded. The Service is for entertainment and friendly competition only. You must not use the Service in connection with any form of gambling or betting.

9. Intellectual Property

All original content, design, code, and branding of YourScoreToday are the property of the Service operator. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without prior written consent. User-generated content (display names, league names) remains the property of the respective users.

10. Availability & Modifications

• We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
• We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time without notice.
• We are not liable for any loss of data, points, or predictions resulting from downtime or service changes.

11. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, points, or access.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
