YourScoreToday ("we", "us", "our") is an independent, fan-made prediction game operated by an individual developer. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to FIFA, any national football association, tournament organiser, or governing body. This service is provided at yourscoretoday.com.

2. Information We Collect

When you use YourScoreToday, we may collect:

• Account information: Your name, email address, and profile photo provided by Google when you sign in via Google OAuth.
• Game data: Your match predictions, award predictions, league memberships, points, and streaks.
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and general interaction patterns to improve the service.
• Device information: Browser type, operating system, and screen size for responsive display purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account.
• To process your predictions and calculate points and leaderboard rankings.
• To display your name and avatar on leaderboards and within leagues you join.
• To send service-related notifications (e.g. match reminders) if you opt in.
• To improve and maintain the service.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS infrastructure). We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest. Access to the database is restricted to authorised service accounts only. We do not store your Google password — authentication is handled entirely by Google OAuth.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share limited data with:

• Google: For authentication purposes only (OAuth sign-in).
• Supabase: As our database and authentication provider.
• Vercel: As our hosting provider.
• Other users: Your display name, avatar, points, and predictions are visible to other users within shared leagues and on the global leaderboard.

6. Cookies & Analytics

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand usage patterns. We do not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising purposes.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate personal data.
• Delete your account and all associated data by contacting us.
• Export your data in a portable format upon request.

8. Children's Privacy

YourScoreToday is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymised, aggregated data (e.g. total prediction counts) may be retained indefinitely for analytical purposes.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
